The project

Is it okay to have your hair pulled by a friend? Do I want to share my snack or not? Do I really want to kiss adults that I don’t know to say hello? These are some of the questions addressed through Direoui Direnon, (transl. Say Yes, Say No) a narrative game accessible from a very young age, which raises awareness about consent in simple everyday moments.

The game is simple: children draw a character card at the beginning of the game. A story card is placed in the center, and a story begins. If an action on the card is directed at their character (for example, the adult guy takes the little boy’s hand), the child involved in the action can refuse or accept, thus influencing the continuation of the story.

A game developed and illustrated for Femmes Solidaires and Clap Audio.
