The project

Petit Péyi is the brand new youth magazine for 7-12-year-olds entirely dedicated to the French overseas territories. Follow Tamara and Théo and embark on a journey to discover the rich and unknown cultures and landscapes of Guadeloupe, New Caledonia, Reunion Island, and more.

For the first issue, the biggest challenge was
establishing the editorial structure of the magazine. I was able to assist the founders with this objective to make it accessible and fun while maintaining its educational content.

Using an existing color palette and two mascots, I also developed the
visual universe throughout the layout, coordinating with the external illustrator brought in for the issue. My final task was to write and illustrate the games section: A Day of Celebration in Maré.

A huge challenge for a result that will be developed in future magazines, which can be found here.
