LA FORÊT DE LUCY
2019 - 2021
Since its creation, the ARI association in France does its best to help towards the inclusion of handicapped people. Using games as the center of their pedagogies they felt, however, that a game that would talk about inclusivity and differences was missing. Topla and ARI joined forces to create La Forêt de Lucy, a collaborative board game for the whole family, in which characters are both ordinary and extraordinary, in order for players to understand how our differences can also be a strength.
This project was a huge challenge, as I had the opportunity to direct it almost from A to Z. As Topla’s art director, graphic designer and illustrator, I had the responsibility of imagining the gameplay with the team, imagining the storytelling, the graphic universe, illustrating it, laying it out and dealing with our producer while always maintaining the link with ARI.
